1. Mainly used as acid gas absorbents such as CO2, H2S and SO2, non-ionic surfactants, emulsifiers, polishes, industrial gas purifiers, lubricants. Iminodiethanol, also known as diethanolamine, is an intermediate of the herbicide glyphosate. It can be used as a purifier for gases, as a raw material for synthetic drugs and organic synthesis. 
2. Morpholine and diethanolamine are intermediates of organic synthesis. For example, they can be used to produce some optical bleaching agents in textile industry. Morpholine fatty acid salts can be used as preservatives. Morpholine can also be used to produce formaldehyde, a central inhibitor, or as a solvent. 
3. Diethanolamine is an important corrosion inhibitor, which can be used in boiler water treatment, automobile engine coolant, drilling and cutting oil and other lubricants. It is also used as an absorbent for purifying acidic gases in natural gas. It is used as an emulsifier in various cosmetics and medicines. In the textile industry as a lubricant, but also as a wetting agent and softener and other organic synthetic raw materials. 
4. Used as acid absorbent, plasticizer, softener and emulsifier in adhesives. It is also used as an absorbent for acid gases (such as hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide) in petroleum gas, natural gas and other gases. It is the raw material of synthetic medicine, pesticide, dye intermediate and surfactant. It can be used as emulsifier for oil and wax, softener for leather and synthetic fibers under acidic conditions. It is used as thickening agent and foam improver in shampoo and light detergent. It is also used as detergent, lubricant, brightener and engine piston ash remover. 
5. Used as silver plating, cadmium plating, lead plating, zinc plating complexing agent, etc. 
6. Used as analytical reagent, acid gas absorbent, softener and lubricant, and in organic synthesis.
